Podiatry and Foot Health

For treatment of skin and nail conditions including corns, callus, verruca, athlete’s foot, fungal, ingrowing or thickened nails, nail cutting and maintenance, cracked heels, chilblains, dry skin and all other foot complaints.

Ingrowing Toenail Surgery

Partial or total nail surgery under local anaesthetic, with or without Phenol, to relieve painful ingrowing toenails that do not respond to conservative methods.

ABPI (check for Peripheral Arterial Disease)

A diagnostic test available in clinic to check blood flow to the feet. The test is used to confirm Peripheral Arterial Disease where fatty deposits in the arteries restrict blood supply to the legs.

MusculoSkeletal Assessment & Treatment

A comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment of joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles checking for strength, flexibility and movement.

Appointment may also include massage, mobilisation, padding, strapping, taping, exercises, as well as footwear advice, orthotics. Orthotic cost not included.

Cryo-IQ Verruca Treatment

Cryo IQ is a fast freeze verruca treatment that freezes the inter-cellular fluid and helps the immune system to recognise the virus. There may be a mild stinging nettle sensation and several treatments may be necessary. Suitable for most patients.

Diabetic Annual Assessment

A comprehensive check to assess and monitor the condition of your feet. A report can be sent to your GP on request. It is advised to have this 6 months after your annual GP/consultant check up if you prefer more regular check-ups.

Fungal Nail Testing

A non-invasive test to confirm presence of dermatophyte nail fungus is available in clinic and recommended prior to starting any fungal nail treatment.
