Podiatry and Foot Health

Podiatry/Foot Health Appointments

For treatment of skin and nail conditions including corns, callus, verruca, athlete’s foot, fungal, ingrowing or thickened nails, nail cutting and maintenance, cracked heels, chilblains, dry skin and all other foot complaints.

New patient appointments or returning patients whose last appointment was more than one year ago.

Simple nail cuts or minor problems within a 15 minute appointment

Simple nail cuts or a minor problem requiring less than 15 minutes treatment (not available to New Patients)

Ingrowing Toenail Surgery

Partial or total nail surgery under local anaesthetic, with or without Phenol, to relieve painful ingrowing toenails that do not respond to conservative methods.

MusculoSkeletal Assessment & Treatment

A comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment of joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles checking for strength, flexibility and movement.

Appointment may also include massage, mobilisation, padding, strapping, taping, exercises, as well as footwear advice, orthotics, foot sizing for DB Shoes. Orthotic cost not included.

FootBalance Sport and Medical Insoles and Orthotics

100% custom insoles and orthotics made while-you-wait. They are comfortable to wear, fit in most footwear and can help with a variety of problems.

FootBalance Bespoke Modifications

Modifications can be added (and removed) to provide greater control and give relief from many conditions.

Cryo IQ Verruca Treatment

Cryo IQ is a fast freeze verruca treatment that freezes the inter-cellular fluid and helps the immune system to recognise the virus. There may be a mild stinging nettle sensation and several treatments may be necessary. Suitable for most patients.

ABPI Appointment

A diagnostic test available in clinic to check blood flow to your feet. The test is used to confirm Peripheral Arterial Disease where fatty deposits in the arteries restrict blood supply to the legs. For more information, contact the clinic.

Medical Pedicure

A wonderful, unique treatment combining Foot Healthcare with a warming aromatherapy footbath. This is followed by a short foot massage and completed with a Dr.’s Remedy nail polish.

Diabetic Assessment

A comprehensive check to assess and monitor the condition of your feet. A report can be sent to your GP on request.

Fungal Nail Testing

A non-invasive test to confirm presence of dermatophyte nail fungus is available in clinic and recommended prior to starting any fungal nail treatment.

Clearanail Fungal Nail Treatment

Following the recommended 16 week pathway treatment, minute holes are made through the nail allowing the treatment to be applied directly to the fungus. www.clearanail.com

Just Polish

Dr.’s Remedy organic Polish, in a colour of your choice. Ideally suited to follow your regular Podiatry, Foot Health treatment. NB – Previous nail Gel must be removed before appointment.

Sometimes appointments are available at short notice, so please call and check.

Changing or cancelling an appointment requires a minimum of 24 hours notice, otherwise otherwise you may be charged for the treatment.
